Join as a Cadet
Becoming a Civil Air Patrol cadet (ages 12 - 18) is a rewarding experience, full of opportunities you won’t find anyplace else. Joining is easy. It begins by first attending three meetings to ensure that you have a good sense of the program.
After three meetings, you will be able to sign up for membership in the Civil Air Patrol!
Have your parent or guardian email us at fairchild@wawg.cap.gov, and see our Cadet Program FAQs for more information.

Attend a Meeting
Like with Cadets, the only way for an adult to be able to tell if they're going to be a good fit in CAP, or in a particular unit, is to join us for a meeting and meet our members. Prospective members are welcome to join us during any meeting, and you can help us prepare to show you around by sending an email to fairchild@wawg.cap.gov to let us know that you plan on attending a meeting for the first time. You can see our squadron calendar and the map to our meeting location on our home page for more information.
